Haus zum Sternen
Das beliebte Familienhotel in Rottweil

Haus zum Sternen

The mighty house on the city wall is one of the oldest in the city and belongs to the first generation of Rottweiler stone houses.

Our historical main building from the 13th century offers you the possibility to feel history. Each room has its own unique character, furnished with precious antique furniture from different eras, from Baroque to Art Nouveau.

Have breakfast on the “Bel Etage” with a wonderful view over the Swabian Alb and the swinging beam painting from the 16th century, or in the Gothic Chamber from the 15th century with its delicate tracery frieze and the heavy Renaissance door.

“Gotisches Stüble”

The Gothic Chamber is the hotel’s pride, however. Built in the late Gothic period, it has been kept in its original condition. The last colour alterations were made in 1909.

In this unique setting we serve breakfast, not only to newly-weds. The Gothic Chamber is also used as a non-smoking meeting room for groups of up to 8 people.
